Esta obra se refiere a la fragilidad y desgaste de las personas chinas que participaron de la construcción del ferrocarril. La porcelana es un material que permite hacer asociaciones de fuerza (que se somete a altas temperaturas para su fabricación) y fragilidad (es delicado y se quiebra fácilmente). Las personas de origen chino constituyeron gran parte de la mano de obra de la construcción de las vías férreas, representan la fuerza y al mismo tiempo ruptura de la existencia misma, en pro del "progreso" y "desarrollo".

This piece refers to the fragility and physical exhaustion of the Chinese people involved in building the railway. Porcelain is a material that allows for associations of force (subjected to high temperatures during manufacturing) and fragility (delicate and breaks easily). The Chinese made up much of the labour force during the construction of the railways, representing strength and, at the same time, the breakdown of existence itself, in the interests of “progress" and "development"
